The world of new technology and gadgets is an exciting one right now. this also makes it incredibly hard to decide on such things as the best, when there are so many to choose from. Therefore, in the following article, at DotCom Magazine we are going to highlight five of our favorites. We realize that this top five will not necessarily match up with other individuals or publications choices, but that’s the great thing about our modern world – there is room for everyone to have their own preferences and opinions.
Samsung S-Ray
The Samsung S-Ray comes straight out of the company’s C-Lab and is a cool gadget that allows you to listen to any of your devices without being a disruption. Completely wireless, the technology used in this gadget will stream the sound directly to your ears, and is believed there are plans in place for it to be used in a number of different ways – with a personal neckband, phone cover or even Bluetooth Speaker. It was introduced at CES in 2018, so plans are still in the early stages. We still like the idea of this rather futuristic way of listening to music.
Smacircle S1 Folding eBike
eBikes and folding bikes are big business these days. As people are trying to be eco-friendlier and energy-smart with their daily commutes, there has been a large number of different start-ups and companies producing their own take on these portable and lightweight modes of transport. From Shenzhen in China, comes Smacircle and their S1 folding eBike, that the company claim is the most lightweight and compact of its kind. It actually weighs just 15-pounds and folds up into a backpack that can be locked using an app on your phone.
Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless Headphones
Bluetooth headphones are not exactly new, but as many audiophiles have not fully gotten on board with them, due to their poorer sound quality than wired models, the Amiron from Beyerdynamic could be the turning point. This is a very articulately designed wireless headphone set that has amazing bass definition and sound clarity. It is thought to be even better than Beyerdynamic’s own Aventho Wireless, which is no easy task as that pair of headphones is a great product.
Toto Floating Tub
As tech continues to overtake our lives in ways, you’d think 10 or 20 years ago were the stuff of sci-fi, the Toto Floating Tub is the latest in a long line of baths with integrated tech. The thing that really makes this one stands out is hinted in its name – it reportedly simulates the experience of floating in space. It does this by using a number of jets that elevate your feet off the base of the tub and with a gorgeous array of LED lights, you are treated to a fully immersive interstellar experience. Bath time will never be the same again.
ForwardX CX-1 Suitcase
One of the biggest strains when traveling is carrying or pulling your suitcase around the airport. That can all change if you buy the CX-1 suitcase from ForwardX. How is this different from any other? It is an autonomous, hands-free case that will roll alongside you at a speed of 7mph. We think that is extremely cool.
