Marc, thank so much for taking the time out of your busy day for this interview, and answering some questions about leadership, your vision, and your passion.

1. Can you describe what the “elevator pitch” for Spinutech Inc. is?

Spinutech is one of the Midwest’s largest all digital agencies. We are a team of almost 70 digital experts that serve clients in all 50 states and 10 countries. Our passionate team members work on continual optimization and meeting/exceeding our clients KPI’s/Success metrics.

2. Many of our readers are just starting to build a company. What advice can you give CEO’s just starting out regarding keeping a company moving forward, and please tell us the key to your company’s success?

Sales should be your number one priority when starting out. You must have cash flow in order to sustain. Spinutech’s success is centered around the people we have on our team and the culture we’ve maintained.

3. For other entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as Spinutech Inc., what advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

Indecision will create more problems. You must make quick decisions and give your team clear direction in these times.

4. How important is the commitment to client satisfaction at Spinutech Inc., and how do you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

Customer service is extremely important and a core value of our culture. If we don’t have happy clients then we don’t have any clients. Also, a happy client sends you more clients and this cycle is the cheapest way to grow your business. We do this by doing what we say we’re going to do. That seems simple, but many agencies don’t follow through.

5. What is the one overriding belief that Spinutech Inc. has about what it is doing?

Our clients are our partners, without them we don’t exist.

6. In today’s fast changing business environment, what do you do to keep up with the changes? What do you read to stay abreast of things?

In tech this is obviously a challenge. I read about 6-10 articles/blogs per day from various sources. We also do a great job of sharing this content internally so our team does a great job of helping each other stay on top of the constant changes.

7. Can you recommend a book that has had an influence in your career? How did it influence you?

There are so many books that have had an influence on my career. Here are a few: Traction, Tipping Point, Differentiate or Die and Entreleader

8. In one sentence, can you tell us what the most important thing about being a leader is?

It is critical that everyone on your team aligns with your vision as well as truly serving your team to support the success of that vision.

9. In one sentence, can you give some advice to fellow entrepreneurs wishing to build a company as exciting as Spinutech Inc. ?

You better have passion around what you are building or people won’t follow you.
