Nor, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day for this interview about your company, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
1. Nor, please tell us about Movadex. What is the elevator pitch?
Movadex is a software development company focused on client’s success. We prioritize quality and believe that communication is the key to successful relationships. We specialize in creative design, web and mobile development.
2. What is the one thing that makes Movadex great?
We merge art and business. We aspire to break stereotypes and turn every idea into a unique piece of art.
3. Please tell us what is the key to being a great entrepreneur?
I believe that a great entrepreneur is the one who pushes his team to success. Also, the one who can firmly lead the team without being too distant from them.
4. What is the best advice you can give to a young entrepreneur just starting out with a new venture?
Never give up. It is tough and it will be tough, just remember that you are not the only one struggling on your way to success. As Honore de Balzac once said: ‘In order to reach the goal, it is necessary to move’.
5. What is the one thing that you, as a person, want to be known for?
To be honest, I haven’t completely made up my mind yet. But I know for sure that I want to be known as a person who changed this world for the better. And I won’t ever give myself a chance to stop until I reach that goal.
6. When building a business, what is the one most important thing to keep in mind at all times?
It is crucial to keep good track of everything that is going on in your company at any given time. Communication between you, your customers and your team must be seamless.
7. When hiring employees, what is the one most important thing you look for?
When hiring, I always look for employees who are eager to learn. I would rather hire someone who is willing to get better and grow with the company, even if that person lacks in skill.
8. What is your “Why”? Why do you get up in the morning?
Sometimes it’s really hard to get out of bed. Especially after I work all night.
But, as I stated above, I want to make an impact on this world, make it better. As soon as I start thinking about that goal of mine, I find the much-needed motivation.
9. What is the one thing that makes a great company?
Personally, in Movadex, we think that the Idea makes a company great. Our idea is to make the world a better place. That’s our purpose of existence and that’s what moves everyone in our company — from Juniors to C-level executives.
10. What is the one thing that makes a great leader?
You know how they say it: The captain is the last to leave a sinking ship. I believe that a true leader must always put the crew above his own needs.
