1o8 is a CPG performance marketing agency focused on the intersection of e-comm and brick & mortar. We specialize in growth solutions for CPG brands that are looking to create or accelerate a DTC approach for their brands via digital marketing channels and online engagement.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

We are laser focused on driving revenue growth for our clients and utilizing tactics that drive sales.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

Heart is how we are different. We bring both direct conversations and empathy to all of our conversations to better understand the pain points that we need to solve to help our clients truly achieve the gains they’re looking for by creating or enhancing a DTC channel.

Q: And to finish this section, Please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

Speed. Our clients rely on us to help them get to market first and harness the digital shelf to create an engaging and growing consumer base for their brand.

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

Ask questions. Find mentors. Throughout all my experiences, I’ve reached out and let my curiosity lead the way to learn and grow my knowledge and become part of a larger community.

Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

When things get challenging, step back, take a breath, and let go. Often times, the answers or solutions to the problems and challenges are right in front of us, yet the emotions are intense or the stress weighs you down. Take a breath or some time off, even if it’s just one day, and come back refreshed and energized to tackle the issue at hand.

Q: In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

By listening – my clients are at the forefront of innovation and how their business is changing. I ask a lot of questions to our partners, vendors, and clients to get a pulse on the market.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

Building a company for what is yet to come in the world of e-commerce and technology.

Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

Listening is the single most important key to being a successful leader.

Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

If we didn’t have our clients, our business would cease to exist even with our amazing and talented team.

Technology can help spotlight issues that need help, focus, or attention in our world.

Believe in yourself. Use your determination to build confidence and tackle the problem that you are trying to solve with that momentum.

Q: In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?

Every morning, I wake up and meditate for 15 minutes and head out on a 5 mile run to clear my head and focus on the day ahead.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setback?

By understanding that each failure is a lesson to build on and grow from by asking the questions necessary to improve.

Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?

I look for people that are curious, inquisitive, and proactive.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?

My family is my biggest key to my success and what keeps me sane everyday.
