Q: Let’s start by telling us about your business?

We design, produce, and sell addictively comfortable shoes, boots, and sandals based on the idea that TRUE comfort and performance come from letting your feet do what’s natural — bend, flex, move, and FEEL the world. We’re helping people re-discover that natural movement is the obvious, better, healthy choice… the way we think of natural food. People in 97 countries wear our shoes for everything from strolling on the beach to climbing Kilimanjaro to running trail ultra marathons.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

By providing products that change their lives, and providing awesome customer service.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

Unlike typical performance footwear, that your told to replace every 3-500 miles, all of our shoes, boots, and sandals have a 5,000 mile sole warranty.

Q: And to finish this section, Please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

LUCK

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

Find the fastest, easiest, and least expensive way to PROVE that strangers want what you do (by taking money out of their wallet and giving it to you).

Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

For a rapidly growing business like ours, time are ALWAYS challenging. Get over the idea that they shouldn’t be 😉

Q: In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

Since we’re part of the rapidly changing business environment, we don’t need to do much other than be attentive to and deal with what comes our way.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

Because of the tens of thousands of people who’ve told us that our products have changed their lives — either by simply providing unprecedented comfort, or allowing them to Live Life Feet First for the first time in years… or ever.

Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

I have no idea since I never think about “leading” as something one actively does.

Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

Customers ARE our business.

Q: In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?

In theory, by bringing transparency to previously hidden forces.

Q: In one sentence, tell us how something positive to motivate our readers?

You don’t need any special “mindset” to achieve… you just need to keep putting one foot in front of the other and walk the path (or run when you get the chance).

Q: In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?

I don’t “get ready”; I simply start my day, like every day.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setback?

I don’t think about “handling” them, I just take whatever the necessary next step is.

Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?

If people don’t bang down the door and beg to work with us, we don’t hire them

Q: In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?

HA HAA HAAAA HAAA… oh, you’re serious?
