Robert Flores, the CEO of I Sell Palm Coast is a tenacious go-getter. With his new business, he is excited to put his vast experience to work at helping clients finance the home of their dreams.
Robert was a Queens native before moving to Flagler Beach, Florida. Once there, he started his accomplished path of entrepreneurship. Robert realized he had a natural flair for sales while working for a national cellular company. He took that flare and moved into a position as a loan officer. Working in the real estate industry, Robert discovers he has a passion for helping people realize their homeownership dreams and that he has the skill to go very far. Robert then decides to make a bold move and open his own mortgage brokerage. When the housing bubble burst in 2007, Robert was able to weather the storm by pivoting and opening a property management company. During a real estate transaction, Robert meets the owner of Approved Mortgage Source who quickly recruits Robert to be a part of the team there. It doesn’t take long for Robert to become Vice President at Approved Mortgage Source. Robert excels in his position and helps the company expand through both new hires and by starting new branch locations throughout Florida and Georgia.

With his new business, I Sell Palm Coast, Robert is bringing all of his experience and natural ability to excel with him. At I Sell Palm Coast, Robert will work tirelessly to help his clients find the home of their dreams. Buying a home, especially if it is a client’s first time, can be an extremely stressful process. Let’s start by telling us about your business.

At I Sell Palm Coast, I will bring homeowners’ dreams to life by finding the right home to fit their needs. With a booming market here in Florida, I will take the time with each client to guide them each step of the way. I will make sure that each client feels confident in their decision and that the whole process is enjoyable for them.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

My goal is to take all of the stress out of the process. I have a long and extensive history of experience and knowledge in this field which means that I can oftentimes predict what a client needs before they even know they need it. Doing things like that and just going above and beyond in general for all of my clients will hopefully make them all raving fans.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

I would say my extensive experience and the superior customer service I provide. At I Sell Palm Coast clients will feel more like they are going through the process with a friend on their side than a salesman looking to close a deal.

Q: And to finish this section, please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

Throughout the years, I have overcome a lot of adversity and weathered many storms like the housing bubble. I have proven through my ability to adapt and innovate during those times that I have the endurance needed to be successful where others may fail.

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

Get your name out there early and really spread the word about your business in any way you can. Social media and the internet are great tools but your business can easily get lost among all the others so you are going to have to get creative and work hard to get your business name out there but it will pay off if you do.

Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what one big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

Don’t get so stuck on one idea that you aren’t able to pivot when times may get tough. Sometimes you have to change course, maybe even change to a new business idea altogether, that is not failing, that is being a wise entrepreneur.

Q: In today’s fast-changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

It is important that I stay informed about any changes in the real estate world so that I always have the best homes to show my clients, so I am constantly reading articles and looking at “comps”. No one likes to be the last to know about things but at the same time, you have to go out there and search for the information if you want to be the first to know. I am not a passive person; I am the go-getter.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

I get up in the morning because I am excited about what I can accomplish that day.

Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

In order to be a great leader, one must know how to lead in a compassionate and just way.

Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

I genuinely enjoy working with my clients and look forward to every interaction.

Q: In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?

Technology has a lot of great information that helps individuals become a better person, if we all work on becoming better people, together we will have a better world.

Q: In one sentence, tell us how something positive to motivate our readers?

If you can remain happy as you work, that positivity will lead to good things.

Q: In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?

I have my routine: breakfast, a light exercise, catch up on the news and tell my wife I love her.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setback?

I remind myself that these are a natural part of the growth process and I keep muscling through with endurance.

Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?

When hiring, it is important to find individuals that are open to a new ideas, open to criticism, and are equally good at working on a team and leading.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?

I tune out the noise and stay focused on what I am doing because really, that is all that is important.
