Aamir Waheed is a real estate entrepreneur with decades of experience in the industry. He has worked in, and managed several reputable companies throughout his career. Waheed is known for his expertise in various aspects of real estate including tax deed sales, foreclosure sales, lender note sales, short sales, and REOs. Aamir Waheed is also the current president of Realtrack Inc., which owns, and manages properties across Florida. His expertise and years of experience have helped the company attain the high levels of success it currently enjoys. Besides his success in business, Aamir is also a philanthropist.

He is big on giving back to the community and actively participates in countless humanitarian causes. He is particularly passionate about acts of service such as projects for feeding, clothing, and sheltering homeless and economically disadvantaged populations in his community. Aamir is also an avid environmentalist and has donated his time, skill, and money to combat climate change. He understands the detrimental effects of climate change, and intends to build and leave a better world for future generations. His company emulates his values, and only uses environmentally safe products in their operations. Aside from work and charity, Aamir is a family man. He spends whatever time he can spare with his family, and together they have traveled to numerous destinations globally.

Q: Let’s start by telling us about your business.

My business is primarily real estate. I started way back in the 2000s when I spotted an opportunity in the market.

At the time, interest rates were so low that buying up property for resale was pretty easy. I bought a couple, and after a few years of buying to resell, discovered that we could also build a solid passive income by renting some property. This helped me build the liquidity necessary to survive the 2008 market crash. Since then, the business has diversified to various aspects of real estate within the Orlando, Florida area.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

I invest a lot of time and resources in customer service. When customers are happy, you are always sure that they will also send their friends, colleagues, and business partners your way. For me, this is a strategy that has worked more than anything else I have I have invested in since I launched the company. One aspect to customer service that I have invested so heavily in the communications department. I make sure that there is always someone on the phone to answer all our customer queries. Anyone who needs real estate services from my company is always sure that they will be informed of what they are getting into, at any time they need that information.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

As mentioned above, customer service is what makes my business stand out. I have been doing business in the Orlando Florida area for a while now, and I know a lot of real estate companies that have really low quality customer service. I decided to stand out by giving customers the best possible services. It’s not like what we sell is incredibly different from most companies in real estate, but the way we package it makes our customers very happy.

For instance, I always have very strict instructions to my employees to never shill any property. We try as much as possible to sell facts. Anyone who has ever bought, or rented from us knows that what we promise is what we deliver. Not only has this helped us beat the competition, but also grow the business quite significantly over the last two decades.

Q: And to finish this section, please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

Besides giving our customers the best services, I invest a lot in research. I am always a step ahead of the latest trends in Orlando, Florida, real estate, and countrywide. This helps me come up with strategies that can help the company stay ahead of the competition at all times. I realized quite early that to succeed in any business, you have to be in tune with what customers want at all times, and that takes time and effort. It doesn’t just happen.

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

I would advise them to make customers a priority. It is customers that keep you in business. The least you can do is ensure that you meet their needs in the best way possible. Unlike in the past, understanding customer needs is getting easier than ever. With the help of data analytics experts, you can make sense of your customers’ needs in real time. Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what one big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

I would advise them to be resilient. Business is not for the fainthearted, and sometimes you will go through situations that will test your spirit. Once you start and encounter a situation that makes you feel like quitting, remember why you started in the first place. This has always been my fallback when things get tough, and it gives me the motivation to keep going.

Q: In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

I am always out and about meeting various industry stakeholders. This helps me stay informed on the latest trends in the industry. By taking this approach, I have managed to stay at the cutting edge in terms of market innovation, and grow my company.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

To put a smile on my customers faces.

Be open-minded.

I start my day by meeting my staff to plan the day ahead.

I handle rejection and setback by reminding myself that I have come this far, regardless of people’s opinions.
