Let’s start by telling us about your business.
BIO: Michael Luckhoo is a prominent entrepreneur and business professional based out of Mississauga, Ontario. With a passion for the business landscape, Michael has founded three highly successful ventures in a wide range of sectors including, the food and beverage industry, health technology, and decentralized assets. Before his business success, Michael spent twelve years in aviation. His experiences as an airline pilot provided him with the opportunity to further expand his skill set through complex project management and cross-departmental collaboration.
Since then, Michael has served as the Head of Business Development for the global advisory firm, Torus Solutions, and successfully initiated various project launches. He was also named Vice President of DigitalBits and single-handedly established their branded Stablecoin initiative which enabled enterprise partners to help streamline a new wave of consumer interaction within blockchain. As a go-getter with years of experience under his belt, Michael looks forward to educating individuals on the many benefits of blockchain technology. Question response: My latest initiative is the Cirus Foundation, and it was established to help individuals unlock their digital asset – Data. Blockchain is still relatively unknown to many individuals around the globe, and our job is to help people create value. As an avid spokesperson for decentralized assets, I am constantly informing individuals of the many benefits. It is definitely the way of the future.
Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?
I think the Cirus Foundation is unlike any other business on the market. Cirus is a multi-layered solution combining both hardware and software to help individuals take control of their most proprietary digital assets and leverage this as a digital currency. All powered by the fabric of blockchain technology.
Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?
Adoption is our key differentiator, our go to market strategy separates us from the rest. We have a deployment strategy that fits the needs of the internet service providers and of our clients who wish to earn passive income, it’s a win-win strategy.
We are always looking towards the future. Innovation and creativity are fundamental to our success. We appreciate the input of all of our employees and are always performing extensive market research to be able to provide the best possible solutions to our clients.
And to finish this section, Please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?
I work alongside various industry-leading professionals and I value all of their hard work and dedication. We believe that every voice should be heard and we always make an effort to maintain open communication.
For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?
I would have to say, understand that you are always learning. Every market can change from one moment to the next so it is imperative to stay on top of industry trends, emerging technology etc. Perform extensive research and garner consumer feedback. All of this data will be essential in generating a successful business venture.
For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?
My advice would be to seek the help of a mentor. Having someone help you navigate challenging times can be extremely beneficial. Never panic. Take a step back and evaluate the situation.
My second piece of advice would be to not be afraid to take risks. One of the best times to just go for it is when you are young, so take every opportunity possible.
In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?
It may sound simple, but I really take the time to maintain a proper work-life balance. I find that taking the time to step away from my work really enhances my productivity during my work day. I think that overworking yourself all day everyday just leads to exhaustion and burnout.
What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?
I wake up knowing that I am positively contributing to the financial well being of many people. My goal is to help bring decentralized technology to areas of the globe that have not had access and level the playing field of value creation.
In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?
Self reflection is the key to a successful leader. Having the confidence to understand and improve upon your weaknesses is essential.
In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?
Our customers are the driving force that cultivates what we do. It is the core to our business and we would not be where we are today without them.
In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?
Technology is not only the way of the future but it is also a way to empower individuals to protect their assets.

In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?
I typically start my day with writing and less screen time initially, I think it is important to keep both your mind and body active.
In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setback?
I stay focused and do my best not to dwell on things I cannot control and instead focus on what I can. It’s part of the Serenity prayer and one that has gotten me through a lot.
In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?
We are a people first company, we hire based on values, not merely skill sets or credentials.
In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?
I ultimately just stay focused on my goals and swim in my lane without having to worry about the others. It’s worked quite well for me.
