About Byron Boston and Professional Law Enforcement Training:

Byron Boston retired from the Dallas Police Department after twenty (20) years of dedicated service. He spent the past fourteen (14) years working in the narcotics division. His job duties included undercover operations, covert surveillance, preparing pen registers & wiretap affidavits, drafting federal & state search warrants, and testifying in federal & state courts as an expert witness. Byron has been cross-designated as a Special United States Marshal to conduct investigations across the country.

Prior to transferring to the narcotics division, Byron served as a patrol officer for 7 years in one of the most violent sections of Dallas, Texas.

Byron currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for Professional Law Enforcement Training. Byron has conducted presentations in nearly every state in the U.S. & several Canadian Provinces. In 2012, he was the keynote speaker at the Illinois State Police Narcotics Banquet. In 2013, Byron was the keynote speaker at the Northwest Gang Investigators Association Annual Conference. In 2014, he was the keynote speaker at the Virginia State Police Gang Conference. In 2016, Byron presented his Police and Minority Relations course at the ILEETA conference with exceptional reviews.

Professional Law Enforcement Training was founded in 2008 to provide realistic and up-to-date training courses to police officers across the world. Since its inception, PLET has established a very diverse training curriculum taught by instructors with extensive experience. PLET instructors are carefully vetted to ensure they have subject matter expertise, dynamic presentation styles, and are passionate about their course material.
